We are positioned in the heart of Iowa's "Zone 5" and many acres of public land are available within a few short minutes from our lodge. These acres are very under utilized and we feel strongly anyone coming to Southern Iowa to hunt would not be disappointed by hunting there! These local public hunting grounds are surrounded by acres & acres of crop land and a large, healthy whitetail deer population is the result.

Hunting Lodgers - During hunting season you may choose just lodging or for an additional fee you can opt in to the many bonus amenities which include meals & snacks (when cook is available), beverages, etc. Freezers, tables & meat saws.

Our relaxing, over sized great room with attached dining room will be a welcome gathering place when winding down, warming up and telling tales of the days conquests.

NOTE: Hunters you are responsible for your own transportation to and from your leased or nearby public hunting grounds however there are some local folks who hire out to drive so inquire if needing contacts.

DEPOSIT & EARLY DEPARTURE POLICY: 

A non-refundable deposit of half is required at booking and must be guaranteed by credit card! However we prefer that you immediately send check to guarantee your booking. We do gladly accept credit cards but to recover the high fees we are charged so you can receive rewards we do add 4% to your charges. The remainder is due for deer hunts by July 1st for in state hunters or within 7 days of the draw announcement if you’re an out of state hunter. Refunds are not issued for early departure for any hunting week. May we also suggest purchasing travel insurance from: www.itravelinsured.com should you need to cancel your reservation for your own piece of mind.
